If DS shows up this week on the Fbaum show and names the name of the so called "Bagman" and the witness, would this not be the front page of every sports web site? Would the NCAA not have to make a statement on this? Until now nobody has linked Auburn and Cam - This would trump any Yahoo Robinson story out there.

Weird shite happens sometimes...the random clerk who notices a filed document...the cop who gets a feeling something "just isn't right" and stops a bank robbery..etc.

Didn't DS say that he was getting this information from someone that works within the NCAA? They guy has been around since dirt was invented you would thin that he has few more contacts. If this was Clay Travis or some other blogger I don't think it would matter what name they threw out there

Yeah I hear you, but the strangest part of all of it is going on Finebaum. Why not the Dan Patrick show, Jim Rome, Mike and Mike, etc.

Fbaum and DS has a history with each other going back - I have never heard DS sitting down with the guys mention above - Like him or not Fbaum has gotten pretty big the last few years

I get that, but it has been more than the Pseudo reporters hunting. Oh and you can't leave out the prophet BTT and his lapdog followers have been on this for 10 months.
ETA: Let's not kid ourselves either that the NCAA has take many of their leads from the written word and not due to their ivestigative prowess.

The question goes back to why would DS put everything he has accomplished on the line if he has nothing? This guy makes a good living doing without having to spread rumors about this stuff. If he is wrong or does not give a name he falls to the level of Clay Travis and SBB

For the same reason that you don't see GayTravis' and RumorMillBrooks' drivel on the mainstream news channels. Because these are not real stories. The bagman is nothing but the "feeling" of an oddsmaker that will temporarily boost the ratings of a radio show.

History lesson on Fbaum he goes in cycles, Auburn people hate him now and I can see why, but go back to the Fran days and Mike Price, and Mike Shula days and if you would have been listening then Bama fans hated him and Auburn fans loved him
