He gave up a leadoff walk. Then a single got walker to 3rd. Sac fly scored him. Then got a pop up and strikeout to end the inning. First time under duress and limited damage

OU had 2 outs nobody on. Got a single. Then on 0-2 count Camden homers! We never had that clutch hitting last year.

OU manufactures 3 more runs in B4 niw up 7-1.
Had 2 outs no one on. Hit by pitch. Steals 2nd. Next batter walks. Advanced to 3rd on error pickoff play. Then a double scores 2. Then a double scores 1.
Love that we scored 5 runs in 2 diff innings where it was 2 outs and no one on.
Really impressed so far this weekend. Still have lots of game left though.

OU has to love how this weekend went. They were tentatively considered a “bubble” team entering the season and distinguishing yourself in non-con before you hit the meat grinder of the SEC is how you get to a regional even with a 13-17 type record in conference.

That was basically a perfect weekend for Oklahoma in every way
They scored 32 runs, got incredible starting pitching and played great defense
Zero complaints after one weekend
Oklahoma athletics this weekend:
- Baseball 3-0 in Arlington
- Softball 5-0 in New Mexico/El Paso
- MBB win over Georgia
- WBB win over No. 23 Alabama
That's 10-0 - quite a final weekend for Joe Castiglione as athletic director. New AD took over today.

Long season but a great weekend

Really encouraged by the pitching. Figured our bats would be better this year. But amazed at pitching. Can with great control. Transfer was great in game 2. And true freshman beats #10 in first ever start and game. I could never have expected that.
Its a long season and all teams hit rough patches. We’ll see how they do over the long stretch
