that was a fluke, one man team that they bought.

So every national championship coach must win the NC 4 times for it not to be a fluke? Do NC caliber teams not have great players?

If the ACC wants the "best conference" moniker they can have it. Then everyone can play Boston College like its their Super Bowl simply because they're from the big, bad ACC.

We didn't ask for this treatment, only that our undefeated teams not get snubbed. Well, we got a chance and succeeded. And then kept succeeding. Now we're the villain. Now if one of our teams loses a noon game coaches from other conferences are throwing up their rivals logo.

C'est la vie.

I would think teams like Clemson, FSU and Miami would understand better than most why the SEC is so good. You get the benefit of recruiting the nations most fertile talent-laden region as well. It's not about a conference its about a geographic location that makes the SEC successful, of which some ACC teams are apart. And given the right coach can be just as successful.

well true,

but have you ever considered one of the things that makes the ACC weaker is we have 4 programs all in one state, the state of NC? really wake, duke and unc should be in some ivy league wannabe confeference and then nc state would be a more consistent program

but nobody plays SEC teams like it is their superbowl, when we meet you in a bowl game it is about winning the bowl game whoever we play

Nope.

Now don't get me wrong, I love what you are doing to some of these fan bases in this thread.

...but...

for the foreseeable future:

Losing a big game in heartbreak fashion =
pulling a Georgia.

Losing to a team you should easily beat knocking yourself out of contention =
pulling a Clemson.

These things did not happen over night after one game. They are deep rooted trends that happen over and over again.

Well this thread certainly picked up some steam. Wonder why?

You do realize that Yabba Dabba Dabo will sing the praises of how great Clemson is and try and ride this success to an SEC job offer. He would drop you people in a heart beat if any decent SEC school was stupid enough to offer him a job. Face it: you have a douchebag and a loudmouth for a coach. He's got you people drinking the coolaid. I believe that Clemson was ready to run him out of town only a couple of years ago. Doesn't he embarrass you when you hear his after-game interviews? You should get on your knees each night and pray that C. Morris stays.
