re: Cursing should not be allowed in football

I played football for 11 years.. coached HS football for 12 years.

As a player I had coaches that cussed. It never bothered me.. it’s not like they were cussing me personally, they just cussed.

As a player, I trash talked and cussed a lot. I had referees warn me games to stop cussing.

But I tried not to cuss as a coach. There may have been a slip up or two.. but it wasn’t something I did. I didn’t think it was appropriate, so I just didn’t.

I think every coach has to be himself..

But it’s part of the game
