Could the SEC be better

We all know that the SEC is the permier Football/sports league in the land but could it be better ?? what suggestions do you have
this is not a kick out this team and add this team thread
bearing this in mind what if Texas and TexAAM were added to the west and FSU and Miamior Clemson aded to the east woudl that make us better ....or to big
could we just decaler the winner of this Super BIG SOUTH conference the national champion

To make it a better all around league some programs would need to step up and be more competitive in a few other sports. Football we are great. Men's basketball we are ok. Baseball could probably use some upgrades around the league. Women's basketball is sorta forgotten at some SEC schools.
That covers the four "big" sports. I also wouldn't mind seeing more/better competition across the league in swimming/gymnastics/etc.
