If we lose to Auburn, I'm gonna kill myself so everything will be irrelevant at that point.

Could he be having success, this year, due to a very good offensive line recruited 3 & 4 years ago by shula? A senior qb, recruited by shula, a senior safety, recruited by shula, senior punter and field goal kicker, recruited by shula.

Shula didn't recruit Tiffin(K) or Johnso(s), they were both walk ons that were not offered scholarships till soph
Same with punter
And for JPW, he would have come there if Price was still the coach.
And lets not mention the 17 freshman that have played this year.

I thought it was Auburn who defined their season by beating Alabama, while Alabama played for national championships?

I thought all of the good players came to LSU because of Saban? You mean players go to a school for something other than the coach?

it's a combo of both. Bama is a good team this year, but they would not be undefeated in the SEC this year if it wasn't a down year. Also, not playing Florida is huge for them. Bama would be in a battle for Atlanta in a normal year, but not sniffing #1 in the polls.

This is actually a terrible thing for Saban long term. The expectations will be even higher, and we won't be able to sustain regular season records like this year.

If a shitty Auburn team takes away our championship hopes, I'm gonna kill myself.

Regardless of what happens this weekend, we both know Florida will take away any chance of Alabama winning anything other than the West this year.

Nah, the games aren't played on paper for a reason. Anything is possible in a single game.

I disagree with this. We have recruits looking at Bama now from everywhere in the country. We're on national TV almost every week. The expectations will always be high at Bama no matter what. Nobody's gonna run Saban off.

No doubt, see LSU's win over Tennessee in the 2001 SECCG.

An Alabama win over Florida this year would be as surprising as our win was over an undefeated Tennessee team heading to the MNC game.

Your right, no one will run him off. He'll leave on his own.

Emmert has 5 million waiting for him. You'll learn about this soon. Been in the works since the beginning of the year. Why you think Sexton got him on the cover of Forbes? Marketing nationally.

I assume you mean Rashad Johnson, and if I'm correct, then it's obvious you don't know what the frick you are talking about. Johnson was never recruited by Shula. If you have watched any Alabama game this season you would know that he was a walk-on, since it is mentioned each and every game.

Furthermore, whenever someone brings up LSU's 2-loss title, LSU fans pull the "parity" card. Now, with Alabama being undefeated, LSU fans are pulling the "entire NCAA football is down" card. Give me a fricking break.

Army Fan;

If You are so absolutely certain Alabama Can't Beat Florida..Then Brother Go Bet Everything You Have On Florida Even If The Spread Is 20 Points. I Mean why tell us this and That why not put your money where your mouth is and become Rich.

I Don't Read any Bama Posters Making Predictions How Were Going To Do Thus and Thus To Florida.

I'm A Realist..I Truly Thought We'd Lose 3 Games This Year So Anything After Auburn Game Will Be Great for Us.

We Have Seen Alabama Play It's Best (Georgia Clemson) We've Seen Them Come From Behind And Win (LSU For One) According To The "Experts" We're not even supposed to be worthy of Any SEC Championship Much Less The National Championship..How Dare Us Even Think Like That.

We Were Supposed To Lose To Georgia...Lsu....Auburn...Tenn Just Like in the Past. But Saban Got Our Boys Fired Up They Believe In Themselves No Matter What The "Experts" Predict.

I Will Tell You This IF IF IF They come in The Georgia Dome With The Same Intensity They Did Against Clemson And UGA Teavow And Co. Are Going To Be For A Long Night.

Don't Get Me Wrong I Think Florida Is An Outstanding Football Team As Well As Urban Meyer. He's Earned My Respect.Teabow Is A Passer..ALABAMA Runs The Ball most of the Time. I Checked The Stats On Their Key Players And Our Comparison Players. I See And Even Game On Key Players Can Do. Teabow Without a Question Is A Better Quarterback Then JPW On Stats...But Again He Throws It More Then We Do. I Can Point Out This And That But Let's Just Say This; Florida And Alabama Both Know They Gotta Win This Game To Have A Shot At Being The NC. I Believe This Is Going To Be A Heaveyweight Fight. Nobody is Going to blow out the other...Don't Bet against Bama..

Bama has a good solid team and has used that to take advantage of an average sec this year. BUT, they have taken advantage. There have been many teams in the past that haven't done that in the past.
The fact that a thread has to be brought up by an LSU fan to point this out shows the massive inferiority complex that, not all, but many LSU fans have. Senseless, considering the success LSU has had the past 9 years.
