Not sure why Tennessee fans are burying their heads in the sand and pretending that LSU or A&M would take Vitello if they wanted him badly enough.

The guy that's been breaking all of the LSU news says that Vitello wants the job. He's been right about the opt outs, Mulkey and the PM retirement. I'm not sure how he would know that, but that's what he says.

They certainly would if they could. He’s the top choice for anyone with an opening.

Apparently not.

100% -- Someone is going to be talking a lot of shite regardless of if he stays or if he goes.

I forgot the top choice is always the first guy who accepted and he’s always the only one offered. That’s what our AD told us anyway.

Vitello has only been a head coach for three seasons, I can understand why an AD like Woodward would rather a proven championship coach and someone with more experience like O'Sullivan although I'd personally rather someone like Vitello or Godwin.

The truth remains, if Woodward decides he wants Vitello then he'll get him and Tennessee won't be able to do anything about it.

It is what it is.

Whether you choose to believe it has no effect at all on it being the truth.

Anyone who knows anything about college baseball knows I'm 100% right.

Even you know I'm right in the back of your mind, although you're trying hard to convince yourself otherwise.

You better to pray to God that happens. If he turns down your job and keeps whooping your arse you won't be living it down for many years

It has nothing to do with me.

He's very interested in the LSU job and will take it if offered according to multiple credible sources.

If the AD decides to go a different path, that's on the AD.

You’re ignorant as shite. If a program like Iowa State football can get Matt Campbell locked up or Bama basketball with Oates, UT can pay Vitello 2 mill and upgrade facilities and keep him from leaving.

Did Bama offer Campbell a job or did Kentucky or Duke offer Oats?

Like I said, your choice to bury your head in the sand and deny the truth doesn't make it any less true.

Any knowledgeable college baseball fan knows Vitello is there for the taking if LSU wants him badly enough.

Imagine comparing yourself to the greatest programs in their respective sports when you’re 3rd at best.

There’s zero comparison on what it takes to win at the highest level when it comes to football (and to a lesser extent basketball) compared to baseball.

Can’t wait for the report that comes out saying Vitello said thanks but no thanks and your claims that it’s fake news.

It will never happen.

If LSU offers, Vitello will be in Baton Rouge next year.

If not, he will be either in Knoxville or College Station.
