Do you agree that Alabama and lsu are equals in football? Bc lsu has won more games since 2000, no?

It just means you would have gone 33 years between championships. Not all that remarkable really.

The Bama / LSU comparison in football that is irrelevant because 'Bama started winning titles in football way before LSU did in football and continues to do so today. 'Bama also has more football titles than LSU has baseball. It also just depends on how LSU has been historically.

Not pointed at you redstick. Didn't realized I hit the quote on your post but had already typed it out.

Y'all were legit before the past few years. Y'all just had bad luck in tourneys. SOLID #2. But nobody touches lsu baseball as a whole.

In SEC baseball, there's the big 2. Everyone else is on another tier. Some teams have good years. Only 2 are consistent with it.

That's fair.

I think the point some of my Gamecock brethren were making is that we, SCAR, was one of the winningest programs in the 70s and 80s as well ... every since Bobby Richardson arrived.

So Cal, Texas, Arizona and AZ St were all dominant back in the day because the rules were completely different back then in terms of qualifying for the post season and baseball scholarships. So Cal in particular used it to their advantage. Once the rules were changed in the 70s they began to fall apart by the 80s.

Skip had it going-on down in Miami already by then, as did SCAR.

SCAR and Miami used to have almost year battles in the regionals through the 70s and 80s and even into the 90s ... and they were the ones that were usually the spoilers for us.
