A&M will probably never win a NC in my lifetime. It can take a lot of luck. That is okay.

The good thing about it is that I have 5 acres, and a barn with horses. In Colorado. So the city can come but I will always have my space. I love visiting Golden. One of the few places that has managed to keep its identity

BTW, I ain't downvoting you lol. Yes, having some decent buffer is great. I traded pushing snow and wildfires and water issues for a place back down in town. It hurt to do it. Lived on just under 11ac and If I could turn back time I'd still be there.

It isn’t easy. I just had to dump a ton into renovation of the barn, but the chores keep me young. I have a tractor for the snow and a 4x4 to get out of the area when it snows. There are pluses and minuses.

Fires are always a concern in the Black Forest area. That is why I love the snow season.

I got too old and beat up to contend with the maintenance. Did the horse thing too. Daughter was the only one who could ride it without going full rodeo. Alright good luck and no fires!

I will keep the horses for awhile because of my granddaughter. I wanted to be a large animal vet when younger so know a lot about upkeep, and my horses live well. I like the land and the quiet as opposed to the suburbs. On the other hand I cannot get Grub Hub delivered out here …

My kids on the other hand, LOVE the city life. They are in North Colorado with all the California transplants

Sounds like my kids. They like the city more than the country. But one up in Berthoud has a nice quiet neighborhood. One down in Highlands Ranch is in the midst of an urban explosion. Keep your spot they ain’t making anymore.

My wife told me if I leave she isn’t coming with me. We will keep this spot until we die and then the kids will sell it off if that is their wish. She is from Nebraska and loves having her garden. I love having the land.

It is a nice break from my daily job. Sorry you gave up your spot but understand. We have the valuables in the garage during fire season and ready to go at a moment’s notice

I do like to tell people when they're wrong. This has been a great couple of months.

GOAT off season champs!
If you're an adult then you've seen LSU win 3 national titles in football and 3 national titles in baseball.

You've never seen A&M play in a championship football game or win a title in any major sport lol

What trophies does A&M have in football? This is like Peter McNeeley talking trash to Mike Tyson after the fight
