He won't being going to UF, so I'm assuming he will open it up again. He is one of those types who could flourish in JUCO and end up back at a major football power, or completely fall off the map and end up working the counter at 7-11.

Good grief. You guys are like vultures. 
His story was kept pretty quiet even on the insider boards. The best source I know of reported that his motiviation on the field and in the classroom was lacking. There was a report of a learning disability that just kept him from keeping up in college. I cannot confirm the disability though.
It really is too bad. Kid had potential and from all reports was a good person. He left on good terms and I don't think there were any restrictions on his release (see, Meyer is not so bad afterall)
