What, exactly, would Texas A&M bring to this conference? Replace Arkansas with A&M and the football success of the conference immediately regresses. A&M sucks. Or is that the point? Replace Arkansas with an easy win?

A&M would bring the Houston TV market.

Arky isn't leaving and Texas isn't leaving. It's like talking about me having Megan Fox when I want her... it's just not gonna happen!

Everyone is thinking too small. Keep Ark and add 4 teams, become the first superconference. Add TX, OK, and 2 more. The 2 more can be from the east (GT & FSU) or bring in aTm and another school.

Adding more schools to the SEC isn't necessary a good idea... unless the new members bring in significant new markets/revenue it would mean less money for everyone

The only plausible expansion to 14 schools that would seem plausible to me would be adding Texas and Texas A&M (politically have to add A&M so the texas legislature would allow Texas to leave the Big 12)

On CBS Sportsline.com it has been mentioned that the Big 10 recently approached Texas. They are currently talking about it on the Texas boards. They say that if Texas bolts to the Big 10 then Texas will never be allowed to play a school in the Big x11. There is a lot of interesting reads on their boards concerning switching conferences.
