Kirk has always remained objective in the analysis. He loves Ohio St but isn't blinded by it.

The Texas fans know A & M coming to the SEC would help them even up their recruiting with Texas.

Here are some other funny posts from that thread:

quote:

That rumor about SEC offering TAMU is propaganda sent out by aggy because everyone nationally knows Texas can't go anywhere without aggy, because the leg won't let Texas. Aggy doesn't like the fact they have to coattail Texas so they float a rumor that they have an offer to SEC.

quote:

Anyone wanting to see ATM in the SEC is also dumber than lead paint. It opens up the gates to Texas for the cheating scum of the CFB and it green lights ATM to start cheating in earnest. There is no benefit whatsoever to the concept of them walking and if you don't get it, you are doing it wrong.

a Texas school in the SEC is bad bad news.

quote:

"Wah wah wah we cant beat Texas!!! Wah wah wah! Mommy, I wanna go to a new confwence! :( "

Aggy, what are you going to do about your fight song? Who will you say goodbye to now? In all seriousness though, you cant figure out a way to stop sucking and beat Texas so you have to throw away tons of tradition between 2 schools just so you can go get your arse beat in a different conference?

Hello? Aggy? SEC is much more consistent competition than in the Big 12. Good luck!

I agree. Theres no way that TAM can compete with Texas in the same conference. It will be interesting to see how the schools change when they split up. Its a "no lose" situation for the aggies

it sounds like UT is a little sore that their counterpart wants to separate. And what traditions would they lose? They'd still play each other every year just like UF and FSU do.

Jesse Palmer said the Pac-16 would be the strongest conference now, and Herbstreit said there was no way, the SEC is still the best conference no matter what

I'd have to agree, how would this make good teams better? If anything it lessens the chances for some of these Dbags of making it all the way only playing 1 or 2 tough games a year.

someone just made a good point on the expansion board that if OU and TAM didnt follow Texas to the pac 10 then Texas would either have to drop their two main rivals or have one hell of an OOC schedule

A & M has won 2 0f their last 4 against Texas.

They lost six straight from 2000-2005 but they won 12 of 16 from 1984-1999.
