My hair is very fine and blonde, and it shows all sorts of mistakes if people mess up, so I have to go to someone really good.

Yeah, you have like the hardest hair to cut. I can do straight edge shaves. The shop I'm in right now doesn't do them, but my plan is to eventually open my own shop and I will do hot shaves. I got to where I started shaving my own face with a straight razor.

My friend's dad makes a manicurist come to his house because he doesn't want to admit he gets manicures and he doesn't want to have to go to the beauty parlor.

There's no shame in that these days. When I was in school I would go down to the cosmetology department about once a week and get a manicure. The best part is if they dip your hands in the hot wax afterward and put those electric mits on your hands. Sooooooo awesome.Posted on 9/17/10 at 1:21 am to crimson crazy

wow that is so funny of you to say that. Several people have told me I should put a manicurist (sp?) and a masseuse in my shop. I just don't know how that would go over in Athens. You live outside of birmingham, right? Down there that stuff is gold.
