Last night you were making jokes about a kid getting abused, but some talking head calls a player with an abysmal score an idiot and you go into rage mode. omgwtfbbq

As long as Claiborne can dress himself and defend passes I'm not sure why anyone gives any fricks about how book smart he is.

Similar to the bounty situation, everyone pretends to freak out when they hear that universities might be making it easy for athletes to graduate.

Total shocker.

If you honestly believe SEC athletes are held to any sort of academic standards then you're delusional. A lot of them are stupid. Do you think the Alabama defense could spell Alabama?

Every year when the media singles out a kid's poor Wonderlic scores there is an inference of academic impropriety, these writers are paid trolls

I know they aren't held to high standards but mo actually has a learning disability and he passed thanks to getting help. Every team is going to have guys that aren't smart for one reason or another but florio chose to pick on the one with a legit learning disability and not just the guy that was lazy.

Mo and LSU is not the first kid that had a disabilty google Frank Gore and the media's reaction to his test results.

A learning disability isn't an excuse. I've got major (diagnosed since I was 6) ADD. Powe was dyslexic. He didn't score that low.

Kirby Smart's main job. Holding the A placecard when A*L*A*B*A*M*A is spelled out...

you should be outraged any time a kid gets fried by the media over the wonderlic

Again, I dislike it anytime a kid's drug through the mud lacking all the facts. This was easily accessible info & topic relavant to this site which is why I participated in the thread.

Try to keep up, Brorschach.

You do realize there are different types of learning disability, right?

If you claim you were equally outraged when another squad's kid got drug thru the mud over these test scores, I applaud you, even if I do not believe you

Why is it when something happens to the other guy we assume the headlines to be true but when we are in the spotlight the media gets it so wrong ?

For the purposes of this conversation, let me break this down to an almost Clintonian-Whitewater-Starr-Investigation level:

dislike=/=outraged

I said I dislike it. You keep inferring stuff like slander and outrage in terms of my comments. Words & phrases I've never made, typed or used here in this thread.

At this point, I think you should just eject out of the thread. You're weaving all over the road now. Just push the keyboard away.

I wonder how many of the people defending this kid made fun of Powe?

Golfer: his difficultly reading indicates some form of dyslexia.

If you are going to rally for the greater good let's hope you stay the course and mount the soapbox if an Eddie Lacey from Alabama is the kid with an abnormally low score in the future

most likely because when its the other guy its not all that close to home and we dont have a real interest in it. When someone attacks something that hits closer to home you will be more outraged its pretty natural.
