I got grief on GC for wondering if the concussion had anything to do with it. The kid has not had any trouble before, and days after a concussion he is angry and committing an over the top inappropriate emotional response to a conversation with an ex gf.

Well, it turns out anger issues and inappropriate emotional responses are among the text-book responses to concussions, even one without loss of consciousness. So maybe he is just a jerk and a loser who does not respect women, but the timing of it is so bizarre given the known symptoms of irritability and inappropriate emotional responses after head injury.

Big PR problem either way. Too bad. I hope our group of mouth breather fans - similar to everyone here's group of mouth breather fans - leaves her alone.

Some of the responses on this are insane. When does it become acceptable to threaten another person's life in a sinister way? Apparently when you are are a star football player for one of the most popular football programs in the nation. I've seen attempts to deflect blame from the offender to the police and the victim. I've seen attempts to minimize the threat to another life. Then I've seen attempts to just deny it altogether. And the best is that it wasn't the offenders fault at all because he hit his head! I even wonder if some of you would just offer your child as a sacrificial lamb just to better the football program.
