Clearly I've already taken the LSAT if I've been accepted to a top ten law school. If your reading comprehension skills are that bad, it's no wonder you didn't last long in--er, saw that law school "wasn't right" for you.

How does that address your blunder above?

ETA: I am making more per year than the people I was in law school with. And goodness help them if they went into the DA's office, public defense, or took a clerkship.

Well hard work and determination compensates for education if you have a good head. But it will make an old man out of you too. Luckily, I had the opportunity to take an office job so early in life. My back still hurts though.

He did right. He has a very big and nice house. And yes it has affected his health some...bad back and such. And just a month or so ago he lost the tips of 2 of his fingers on the rig. He makes a lot of money...but there is a trade off it seems.

I was too. He did not tell any of his family. His wife told me. Like we could not have noticed it at the family get togethers! But he is going through therapy with it and has already been back out on his rig.

Does this address it? This is for graduates of UVA's law school:

Starting Salaries of 2007 Graduates Employed Full-time
25th percentile private sector starting salary $130,000
Median private sector starting salary $145,000
75th percentile private sector starting salary $160,000
Percent in the private sector who reported salary information 75%
Median public service starting salary $55,000

So even at the lowest levels--those working in the public service sector--you're still $10,000 below average.

this is why it pisses me off so bad when little shits like rmft talk shite about other careers like they are so superior, without know pay scale of either profession.

Cool. The differences in the cost of living from the Deep South to Virginia might explain that. But 55,000...not exactly a a whole lot of dough. I know the folks I went to law school with did not make that their first year out of law school.

But I can tell you, my first year in investments I made a bit more than that.

But what is funny is that you ran your mouth off without know what you were talking about. And then had to run to Google and hope you could find something.

He does not have to know. He can run his mouth now and Google later.

You couldn't even win a kindergarten spelling contest, you moron. If you want to prevent people from thinking you're an idiot, I suggest you don't ever open your mouth again in your life.

No, I knew what I was talking about, I just prefer to use facts and figures rather than "hearsay" as my evidence. Again, that's why you didn't make it through law school.

Your profs will not look kindly upon comma splices. I am surprised this was not addressed in your undergrad program. What was your major?

Wrong. You are keeping Google in business tonight.

I left law school because I knew I could make more money elsewhere. And I am.

I bet you are Googling comma splices right now as I type.
