I just got done with a nephartamy 10 days in im starting to get better I guess yep by step im like the dog looking out the window at squirrels but im still blessed

Rough day at work. Survived massive round of layoffs but some of my friends did not. My company is cutting for a shift towards AI. Not much of a surprise.

Entire tech sector is cutting. I have friends across the industry that are getting cut as tech companies get leaner. It will be a bloodbath at HPE in a couple of weeks. Funny thing is the cuts came right after our earnings report and it was a great quarter.

Interesting. At my previous job, I was in the list of people they let go only to be part of the group they called asking to come back because "they cut too deep".

Six years ago it was against the rules for anyone to stand within six feet of me. Sometimes I miss that.
