A lot of ya'll are dumb or willfully ignorant or both. Hurts sat behind Tua his last year at Bama (he earned his undergrad degree BTW). He came in and played in games where Bama had a big lead and anyone could see he was much improved a passer already.
Then, as many of you all like to forget, he came in when Tua was hurt against Georgia, and won the game for Bama. Anyone could already see Jalen was improving and maturing as a QB.

I honestly think his only "good" fit is a plug and play backup qb to Hurts, maybe even 3rd string.

Watch his game against OU or MIchigan. And then think about how he would be going against pro defenses. He's not going to make it even as a backup.

He watches the pass rush when he gets rattled, and teams started picking up his bad tendencies. That's why he got worse, not improved, as the season went on.

I’m not sure.

Hurts background is father is a successful HS coach.

Hurts was around great players and coaches in college.

Hurts always worked very hard and set the example.

I don’t know much about Milroe. He’s a better athlete, but raw. Somebody will be willing to work with him.

Milroe ain't an NFL QB...getting rid of the ball quickly in the pocket is key to being an NFL QB. It's like oxygen to humans...gotta have it.

Don't know 2024 Stats yet...but check out how bad Milroe is...

From First Round Mock website.

" In 2023, NFL QB times to throw were between 2.36 seconds and 3.23 seconds (Next Gen Stats).

Maybe part of it is my evolving as an evaluator too. I feel like I am becoming more in tune with the traits it takes for college QBs to successfully transition to the NFL and ‘processing time’ (time to throw) is near the top of that list.

Milroe’s 3.45-second average time to throw was the slowest time to throw in the FBS 2023."

Not being a troll but how is he a better athlete?

A lot of this is hyped up BS. He's nowhere near the tough runner Hurts is. When Hurts decides to run with the ball, he's running. Milroe just dances around sideways and goes down.
Hurts ran a 4.5 40 at the NFL combine. I can't wait to see Milroe's combine numbers.

You may be right. Jalen Hurts is a great athlete. I’d say his physically strength is way more than Milroe.

I’m just guessing, but I’d think Milroe would jump higher and maybe be a shade faster, but they will get the data.

Hurts is certainly a much better QB right now than Milroe.

Milroe seems more explosive to me, but time will tell. I would not spend a day one or two pick on Milroe, but it only takes one team to think they can tap the “potential” .
