True, and playing devil's advocate here, let's say three or four of the top teams outside of the CFP also had issues.

In that case it would be absurd to put the eighth or ninth-ranked team in the country into the playoffs by default.

Me too, and I'm getting concerned that we're headed towards another shut down of high schools (and maybe colleges) over the holidays.

Hopefully that wouldn't affect the remaining schedules, but the trend at this point doesn't look very encouraging.

It's a 100% lock that it's the fricking Rose Bowl refusing to move off the current dates.
