It was a different style but that's what the 2013 Auburn team did to a lot of teams. Everyone in the stadium knew Mason or Marshall was running the ball and couldn't do a damn thing to stop it.
It's when Gus was at his best. He'd run the same play until you stopped it. And just be over there yelling "run it again."
Then he became stubborn and failed to evolve or adjust his schemes once defenses adjusted to that meercat/HUNH offense. He could torch a team with the run in the early days though.

Always thought this game was peak Gus Bus in a good way. Missouri had no idea how to stop Mason. Auburn was really smooth and in sync that day.

For some reason at first I thought Peerless Price wore #11, and then I remembered that was actually Joey Kent, and then also realized why I had attempted to erase that dude from my memory.
