I've noticed them.
Okay- well, I'm decent. I wasn't trying to bludgeon this girl- and did not know it had been discussed. Just, AGAIN, was wondering thoughts and who believed what.

I think they're great when handled responsibly. I think there are good content on some and some without.
But I think there needs to be some good ground rules protecting people or they can get out of hand.

Catfishing is when one person makes themselves a fake identity on the internet- usually on Facebook, etc. They pick out pictures of attractive people and talk to others online and on the phone and establish relationships.
But they never want to meet you. Because then they will be outted.
It's done for many reasons- usually dating, but some serial killers have used it. And apparently you can use it recruiting.

While "not a big deal", I kind of think it is. It's not "serious" in this instance, but it can be.
As far as recruiting... kids shouldn't talk to someone they don't know, but what if that's a guy they're talking to? Or some 50 year old woman? Just weird. Gross if it's the guy.
