And had you beat ou or vandy you
Would have been in. Its hilarious Bama fans puff their chest over who you beat but somehow that trumps who you lost to or you neglect that altogether

I don't think Alabama should be in the playoffs.

I think the playoffs should have 2 teams, 4 teams max. The fact we are even talking about a 3 loss Alabama making it in or a 2 loss SMU team that played a weak schedule and didn't beat anyone only highlights what a shitty format the 12 team playoff is.

It's going to be this shitty every year and regardless of what you think Texas is just as likely to be in the same spot in the future as any other team.

Try again, because this simple fact remains:. The SEC had 6 teams ranked in the top25 not named Texas and Texas played a total of 1 and lost to them.

And had we played some of the other 6 I think (and Vegas would agree) Texas would have beaten them. We lost to the 2nd team in the sec regular season and that's it.

Assuming Texas automatically loses to an ole miss, SC, Bama, Mizzou, etc is just silly.

We played the teams in front of us and won period. Had Bama done that you would have been ahead of Texas in the sec standings. Beating ranked teams is clearly just as difficult as navigating the difficult sec otherwise Bama, ole miss, etc wouldn't have lost to the same teams we beat.

I didn't assume anything. I replied to the topic of this thread which is about the strength of the Texas schedule.

You're the ones that keep crying about Alabama and all this other shite.
