When you say your family is poor and trashy, how poor and trashy are they? Like, are they run-of-the-mill hayseed “salt of the earth” type people? Or straight-up Jerry Springer level trashy? Is your family shame and poor upbringing the reason you have such a huge chip on your shoulder while lacking the ability to project the success that so cruelly eludes you?
