What, no reply yet from the Uber-intelligent Hog fan?

Or are you just hanging your head in shame from the failed attempt at flaming.

I already told you what Col. Rebel is modeled after.

So, if Col. Reb was such a good and noble mascot, why did Ole Miss officially get rid or him? Give it up Rebel, even Hootie couldn't spin his way around this one. Facts are facts and regardless of who Col. Reb was fashioned after the end result is that Col. Reb was created to look like Confederate Rebel. Images don't lie.

Not exactly sure how Nutt fits into this argument....unless you're refering to your obsession with him.

We had to get rid of him because of stupid people like you who think he is a Confederate soldier.

Jackie Sherril is actually the main person who drove Col. Rebel from the sidelines. When someone claims something as racist, evidently it is deemed politically incorrect to refute the claim even if it isn't racist at all.

And you are correct....Images don't lie, but your lack of intelligence clouds your mind.

Here's a typical image of a confederate soldier. That doesn't look anything like Col Reb. FWIW Col Reb's attire isn't military looking at all.

My family was in Illinois during the civil war.

It doesn't have anything to do with my original question. Someone questioned why I used the term Confederate in my original question and I simply pointed out that Confederate and Rebel are interchangeable and they are.

To get back on topic, I was asking about Nutt and his charity work. Does anybody know if he is still texting for charities?

The Ole Miss mascot is fine with me...always has been. My dad is an alumni and it's a fine school.

I would happily do that type of charity work...but I don't have to face a 2X4 swinging wife either!

Considering that you are very much clueless on pretty much anything related to Ole Miss yet you still try to make educated guesses......pretty much concurs with my assumption of your intelligence level.
