I would rather our guys be cocky and confident then lay down and expect a beatdown before the game ever starts like the last few years...but that's just me.
No need to give opponents extra motivation by providing bulletin board material, for one thing. Secondly, if/when you're good, you don't have to go around telling others, they know. Show them on the field and let those actions speak for themselves.

Yeah, I'm not saying I agree with what he said, but they need to have that mindset.
I don't even know if this is real.

In fairness to him, fans should stay the frick away from kids' facebook acounts and he may not realize how many do like to monitor everything they do/say. Joe Mcknight said it was ONE of the reasons he steered away from us (LSU).

I always thought this as well. No doubt the kid is talented, but his level of competition in high school is a f#cking joke compared to kids in Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, etc.
