Maybe. I mean hindsight is always 20/20. If the doctors said he could go and he wants to go, though....he did not look to be 100%, though, there is not doubt about that.
I do agree with the posters in this thread that say he should sit out of the Orange Bowl and get ready for the NFL.

If he is ailing, there is no reason for him to play in this game. Kid played through pain and gave us all he had when we were playing for something. If he were not ailing he would play.
McConkey is playing because he is not hurting any more. Could be wrong, but I doubt Bama had guys limping off the field and resting for a few and then going back in vs. KState.
