I'll have a better post tomorrow but right off hand, 3, 4 and 6 have very little to nothing at all to us having an overall shitty D.

As for facing great passing qbs, who gives a shite. So did the rest of the SEC.

You weren't pissed about the bs targeting penalty that incorrectly gave vandy the ball on our 15? It erased a big 4th down stop.

So do you want to compare our d to the rest of the 2013 sec or to previous Uga d's from yesteryear?

Of course I was pissed at that penalty. That doesn't make me think CTG was better though.

I want to compare him to both. He holds up poorly either way you cut it.

Did the d have the same number of injuries? I only remember the o getting decimated.

Florida? I thought you were a Missouri fan. I hate it when a fan of one team wears the sig of another.

That penalty and others made our d look worse than it otherwise would have been. So did the bad snaps and the bad luck.

You might be surprised when looking at 2013 sec d ranks.

Reedus claims scoring zero is objectively solid.

1. Being the oc of the Rams was a no win situation. Uga offers a better opp for advancement.

Did St. Louis have the worst qb situation in the NFL?

Dunno but I don't think I'd exactly call UGA's QB situation ideal.

Scoring zero sucks. Please point to me where I've said anything different. Anything can happen on any given Saturday on that given Saturday, UGA was clearly the better team. The true test of a team is what they do over the course of a season. And for 2 seasons in a row, Mizzou has proven they are the better team as compared to UGA.

ETA - You really are coming off as a Cubs fan. Grasping onto a single game because your team failed over the long haul.

Don't get distracted. This thread is about OC's, so it makes sense to focus on the offense. Yesterday, you claimed 2 things:

1. your OC was solid
2. you were objective

To test your two claims, lets look at some objective measures for the 2014 Mizzou Offense ranks (this includes EVERY game over the course of the season):

Scoring: 73rd
Total: 98th

Sure looks like your OC wasn't solid objectively speaking, which proves you aren't very objective after all. You were all talk. Shame, I really wanted to trust ya.

Yes and we're lucky we scored as much as we did last year with our QB being a dumbass and our WR's being terrible.

I guess talent only matters when it comes to Schotty

Sure seems like everyone is expecting our guy to be awful, but its also possible our guy could turn out to be one of the best in the SEC.

Point is, its far from known whats gonna happen at our QB spot, but the same can be said of most all SEC teams outside of Miss State, and that includes Mizzou, right? It wouldn't be hard to be better than what we saw last year.

That certainly couldn't be said for the rams and their awful backup QB's.

You're the one getting distracted. The thread isn't about OC's. It's about Schotty and UGA. If you want to believe he's all that, it's no skin off my back. I would expect no less from you. You are a UGA fan after all. You should think the most of all things UGA.

Who knows. Maybe Schotty is a better college coach and just wasn't cut out for the NFL. If not, I'm sure he can find a high school gig some where.

Only basing it on past performance. He could turn it around. Never know.

Little bit of an overstatement maybe, just maybe, so that you could feel like you got a slight burn in? Arky is settled. Mizzou is settled. UT is settled. That's just off the top of my head. Mauk does drive me nuts. But he also found a way to win enough games to win the east.

So you claim Talent matters now? Great. I agree. Much thanks for making my point (that you tried to ignore yesterday).

Spare us the BS. Now you may regret posting it, but It was you who posted it nonetheless:

He's better than yours. Josh Henson so far he's been a solid OC.

Unlike Dawg fans, I can be objective though

Anyone claiming the OC of the 98th best offense in the nation is solid is far from objective.

Dobbs 130
Allen 129
Towles 122
Mauk 120

Sure doesnt look like it. It wouldn't even take a good QB to be one of the best in the SEC.

Didn't read this whole thread, but I'll say this...the day I found out Schotty was leaving the Rams for UGA was pretty fricking awesome. I'd no longer have to watch his shite offense on Sundays and Georgia fans get to watch it on Saturdays. A double win.

He's shite, yall will find out soon enough.
