I could see him taking over at a place like LSU but I don't think he would do as well at Bama. He isn't an extremely good recruiter but does a good job of keeping local talent. I also think Bama would be too impatient for him to be able to instill his culture in the program (of course that culture is a lot closer to what it currently is at Bama than at LSU).

Need to forget about rivals rankings and look at the product he has on the field. He has built a tough physical football team with more depth than Arkansas has had in 30 years. He is truly a CEO type coach. Rob Smith and Dan Enos are running their units without much interference I think.
There is not an offence any more potent right now that Arkansas is. Out Oline is playing at a high level. Allen rarely gets touched and that has a lot to do with him. Beliema even said himself after the game when Holly Rowe was interviewing him that he has recruited well the last couple of years. Some folks need to lay down rivals rankings with coaches with a history like CBBs.
