Ole Miss hasn't played anybody. An average Louisville, a weak FCS team in Austin Peay, and a somewhat decent Tulane squad that got lucky and caught OU sleeping on them but couldn't come up with the W in Norman.
Ooooo!!! It's the non-conference schedule of the ages!

Ole Miss is the MOST overrated team in the SEC!
THE. MOST.

Yes, Corral is a great QB. Yes the Rebs offense is potent and will score a lot of points. But their defense STILL SUCKS!
Alabama is going to destroy that OM defense!

They were dead last in the SEC in defense in 2020, and near the bottom in the entire nation. Adding a few transfers (which everyone gets transfers now, so big whoop!) doesn't change the fact that the OM defense didn't have anywhere to go but UP! Of course they're going to "be better than they were last year", but that's not really saying much, now is it?!
Once Bama softens up the Rebs D, Arkansas will roll into Oxford, then run all over that OM D, then roll back to Fayetteville with the W.

I’m interested to see how Ole Miss’ offense functions on the road.

They will be fine. Alabama's defense, particularly inside linebacker play is mediocre to bad. Safety play is average. Cornerback play is fairly good but the refs are calling more PI this year than usual and Alabama's style of face shielding the receiver without looking for the ball is really working against them. Throw in that this team uncharacteristically misses a lot of open field tackles which bodes well for Ole Miss in bubble screens and passes out in the flats.

There’s absolutely no reason to expect Ole Miss to walk into BDS and beat the Tide, and I’m not being facetious. Sure, I’m hoping for the best, but I’m expecting nothing.

In a normal year I would totally agree, but this year has far more competitive teams. While Alabama’s defense and Oline has somewhat declined , Ole Miss has a lot of fire power, Arkansas has a lot of fire powerFla has a lot of fire power and all have improved defensively.

Hmm yep. I am sure not having a spring due to Covid didn’t impact that at all. The question is this, are they 2 TDs better than last year….because that way over rated offense put up over 40 pts against Bama last year….and does Bama look better than last year? I don’t think so! Also does Ole Miss look better than last year? I would say without a doubt and every single analyst agrees….not saying they are going to win….but I will say this the Piglets will get beat by UGA…..so suck it bitch and don’t forget to swallow!

I think it will be like last year. The first one to have to settle for a FG or worse probably loses the game. They matched score for score last year until Ole Miss had to settle for a FG. That was when Bama got a little advantage and won. I expect the same situation this year for whoever has to settle.

IKR, it’s not like we have 4 starters on D that were transfers that didn’t play against Bama last year…..nor did they play the Piglets….but…..

The “big whoop” part cracked me up.

Just pictured some old man waving his fist screaming, “big whoop youngster!!!”

I expect a very exciting game, have no clue who wins this one, I just want to enjoy a great college football game without the refs taking a huge dump on it.
