In respect to coonasses. I was on the east side of Houma picking up some hydraulic hoses. Bunch of guys at the counter who knew each other. One was from up north (still had a southern accent).
Sounded like he had a boat on dry dock somewhere near, but they brought it in from far away. Guy he was talking to was questioning why bring it so far. “Those frickin union boys, it takes five of them to do what two coonasses can get done”
I thought it was funny.
