Yeah, that's the exception but it can be argued that those schools are also very different but close to equal in college sports world value. That is not the case when it comes to Wazzu and Oregon State, both of which know they are screwed because stopping Big Brother still never gets them in the Power 2.
As for Mississippi, I sure as shite would push for that if I were State.

All we know for sure is any reports of pac-10 trying to poach big 13 schools is just ridiculous talk. The big 12 even with OU and Texas leaving would still make more money with the additions they already have ….
When the pac 12 said no to several big 12 schools after OU sand Texas left …. I am sure that hasn’t been forgotten!
