We will be fine

I dont think anyone is questioning that. Its just the big boys who havent lost to state in a while and only once or twice in the past decade who have a hard time believing yall will beat them. I mean you've beaten arky what once this decade? LSU none, Auburn what once, twice? Same for Bama. No ones saying youll be bad, just saying you wont finish ahead of 5th.

They lost their great DC and really good DE, along with their two big time LB's. They will have to outscore AU because we will.

Like shite against AU two years ago with out Cam when AU was running this offense for only the second game ever.

We started 4 True Freshmen and 2 JUCO transfers two years ago on defense and had a horrible DC (Torbush)

Every starter on our defense this will will have plenty of SEC experience and a lot of starts.

No they didn't

Michigan's offense was one of the best in America and Denard Robinson had over 4,000 yds of total offense and over 35 TDs.

We shut them completely down after the first quarter.

Michigan had the 9th best offense in the nation. Averaged over 500 yds per game and 35ppg.

The Big-10 beat up Michigan b/c their defense sucked. They scored a TON of points on offense.

Hold it chief this is THE Mississippi State. They dont rebuild, they reload. Trust me they, Bundy, will come up with an argument to everything you just mentioned they lost. One good season... excuse me... two good seasons (5 wins is good as long as one is against TSUN) and they're beyong reason and objectivity.

State is better than Kentucky, but this is one of those games that will make fans really nervous, until Vick Ballard runs for 200 yards and four touchdowns

A little cocky are we? You have no reason to be. And this guy probably has something to say about it as well.

Just because you call them that doesn't mean they possess said skills.

Yes, I'm aware that means WRs etc.

It's also not hard to shut down an offense when you have a month to prepare for it. Look at what happens to Ga Tech every year in the bowl games.

What did Dixon get a couple of years ago? Like 260?

Saying 200 could be an understatement.

I could see MSU going 9-3 and end up at Citrus or Cotton Bowl.

Definite loss @ ARK, and probable losses @ UGA, and against Bama. Coin-flips are the LSU and USC games, but both are at home so I give State a slight advantage as on now in those games.

Who do you think we will be preparing for at the beginning of fall practice? We may game plan a little for Memphis but we will be preparing for Auburn who we play the 2nd week of the season. In addition we play Memphis on a Thursday and get an extra two days to prepare for Auburn.

We didn't have Trevathan then. Most tackles in the SEC in 2010. Granted we had him last year, but we're much older on the defensive side of the ball now and you're still State and if you think y'all are gonna run over anyone but Vandy and maybe Ole Miss this year, you're delusional.

Mich had a month to prepare & held us to only 52.

State beat Mich more than Ohio St, Mich St & Wisconsin combined beat Mich.

He did break Dixon's TD record, and had almost 1,000 yds. Ballard is a legit SEC back just ask Arkansas about him. I think he had about 200 yds on them.
