So touchy when Texas is mentioned.

Tired of dealing with spineless sycophants with agendas. Thought we handled them in January.

Where are you from?

OU is honestly a mid-west school.

No.

Also, the schools are better.

Mizzou, A&M, Vandy, Florida, Georgia are all light years better than Oklahoma. Whichever conference you joined, you would be on the academically inferior end.

No, but your decade of futility against the SEC makes it quite clear that we as a conference are better than you.

I DGAF what your opinion is on the culture of OU.

Are you saying the SEC is better academically than the B1G?

Bobby Boy got his arse embarrassed by an SEC team on a national stage and still hasn't gotten over it!

Makes sense. Lifelong Sooner fan, or couldn't get in to any major Texas schools?

And I don't care what yours is. My entire family is from Oklahoma, including many generations of graduates from the University of Oklahoma. I have spent time in more towns and cities all over that state than you have. You are a teenager. Your opinion does not hold as much weight as mine, I am sorry if that upsets you, but your opinion isn't just naive and uniformed, it is as close to as wrong as an opinion can be.

Are you saying the SEC is better academically than the B1G?

No, but you have been in a conference with academic superiors before, and it hasn't done anything to help you. Joining the SEC or the B1G would make Oklahoma associated with numerous academic superiors, but the reasoning behind it, and how this would affect OU are quite unclear to me.

actually the record talk started with you saying this gem

quote:

Everything in sports is cyclical. Our down years are when we go 10-3. Oh well

so even if you want to try and pretend you initially only meant the last ten years, you started off saying everything is cyclical.

Well guess what brah? The 90s are part of that cycle and you can't just wish them away.
Stoops isn't getting any younger. That decline that caught up with Mack? Its happening to Stoops right now.

Y'all aren't recruiting like you used to. OU can no longer walk out on the field and win by pure talent alone each week. Once Stoops leaves OU is just as likely to fall into mediocrity as it is finding the perfect HC who reverses your recruiting and big game woes.

And in the 90s, y'all were beneath us. You aren't making a point. You are just making people repeatedly refute the young and naive things you are saying.

It makes sense why he has such a low and uniformed opinion of A&M, but people go to schools for different reasons. He might be super rich and wanted an easy education. Maybe his dad started RoRoDo? Those orange bastards are delicious.

I applied to A&M, LSU, and OU. Got accepted into all three. I liked OU the most.

That explains your butthurt towards OU.

The B1G is simply academically superior to the SEC, it can't be a negative to OU. I'd rather watch OU play in Columbus, Ann Arbor, Happy Valley, and Madison. It's a personal preference.

You're pointing at the one decade in OU's history that they weren't a powerhouse

OU actually doesn't meet the academic standards required for entry into the Big Ten.
