I haven’t the time or interest to investigate AUs many crimes. They are on the internet. Anyone who has a lot of spare time on their hands can go for it.
The vast majority of UGAs arrests are for for underage drinking, parking violations, not carrying proof of insurance or license and the ever popular riding a scooter without wearing a helmet. A few years ago one player was arrested for standing in the aisle at a basketball game and another for making a right hand turn from the left lane. Lots of Barney Fifes in Athens.
Speeding is a recent issue but most charges aren’t super speeder violations. Heck I’ve had a few speeding tickets in my life. Paid my ticket and went on with my life. Kirby is dealing with the problem and there will be consequences. Unlike at places like AU.
Violent behavior isn’t tolerated at UGA. The player is dismissed. Then AU swoops in like a starving vulture and swoops them up.

That has been proven false..........11 times.

In all, 11 players during Kirby Smart's tenure have remained on the team despite women reporting violent encounters to the police, the university or both, according to the report.
You do know this was proven false, retracted and the reporter fired for making the story up, right?

The Anderson thing is legit, it would appear. But, in fairness Georgia suspended him from the team and he has not been with the team since the allegations became public.
Auburn did hire Freeze after everything was made public, though, correct?

sure, sure. It was all made up. A Georgia paper fired him for calling out UGA for sweeping this under the rug. Shocking!
Here you are page after page talking about Auburn........yet you are sweeping away sexual assault like it is nothing. w.o.w.

No. It hasn't. It, in fact, has been misproven and retracted while the reporter got fired for false reports.
He was fired from a previous job for the same thing. Why the AJC hired him is a mystery.

It isnt that hard to investigate.
I know for a fact that Georgia made the top ten in the Fulmer Cup in 2016 (2nd) and 2019. Before the Fulmer Cup wbsite ceased its operation in 2022, Georgia was literally the last arrest.
Since 2016 Auburn has had 1 pot arrest that nailed 4 football athletes, TJ Finley eluding cops with a scooter, and a nobody stealing a 1,500 worth of stuff. That is mostly it. I believe there was one recruit that got a DUI before he even made it to campus or something.
No violent crimes. No deaths. No members of the media vowing to take their program down.No Adam Andersons. You can do better than that Spiderman.

It isnt that recent. This has gone on for well over a year now. Do your players not fear Kirby Smart? If your program is so stout, you would think Kirby would be willing to tell the people that cannot get right to take a fricking hike.

Well, he admitted that he made the story up with numerous points being false. I don't know what to tell you. He was fired from a previous paper for doing the same thing.

I haven't been talking about Auburn.

For the record, I don't think anybody should b pointing fingers at anybody else. We all have our dirty laundry....including Vanderbilt.
That said...if you would like I can search and find the story with the AJC retracting the story and firing the reporter for making up many of his reported incidences.

Glad the AJC fired this jerk. He obviously had it in for UGA.
Doesn’t the AJC check references? This idiot was previously fired for the same type of thing in Kentucky. In a lengthy legal filing, Georgias lawyers disproved every lie he told and the AJC knew they had screwed up royally.
There might still be lawsuits coming over the AJCs behavior as I doubt simply firing this liar is going to satisfy Georgias fans and administration.
Faux News found out to the tune of almost a billion dollars that lying and slandering isn’t cool. It’s time the AJC learns the same lesson.

I agree usually.
But Georgia being the university doing the morality talking right now is a little much. They have issues that are far too recent and unresolved for Georgia to be explaining their air of moral superiority.

This si why nobody should point fingers. This literally happened a couple of days ago:
Auburn freshman DL still with program after stealing scooter, being arrested
This is not meant as a gotcha, so much as every school in the country is a very short time away from some kid in our programs doing something very stupid.

I agree 100%. I mean that is why I said NOBODY should be pointing fingers. That means Georgia fans, too.

Nope. The AJC article was a bunch of lies. They admitted it and fired the lying reporter who wrote it. Lawsuits are still a possibility. UGA definitely has a case against this reporter and the AJC if they chose to pursue it.
Anderson was dismissed. He was not allowed to remain on the team. There were not 11 players and the AJC admitted it
Sue them!

I don't know. But the Auburn fans are right when they said we should not be pointing fingers. I checked and as a whole (and compared to a lot of other schools) they have recently had a pretty clean record. Nobody is squeaky clean these days.

Check out “Auburn players arrested for sex crimes” on the web. It’s interesting reading. AU should be careful before challenging anyone on this issue. And they actually hired Hugh Freeze. My Gawd! What a bunch of hypocrites!

Ok. What are you looking for?

It is a nationwide problem. Not at Georgia exclusively. Not at Auburn exclusively. Not anywhere exclusively.
11,654 people died in a traffic accident in which alcohol was involved in 2020. Think about that. It is exclusive to georgia. Fans need to stop playing "GOTCHA!" with things like this and everybody needs to start taking some action. Instead of laughing it off when people drink and drive we need to shame the people doing it.
