Now, with the 12-team playoff and Texas and Oklahoma exiting the Big 12, OSU has a chance to be a contender at the end of the season. He just needs to recruit a few diamonds in the rough.

He’s a big personality and hard to deal with for administrators. They put up with him in Stillwater bc he’s their native son and objectively one of the best coaches in the country. I think as he’s grown older he has realized how good he has it at ok state and I think ok state has realized how lucky they are to have him. I don’t think he has the type of personality to go into a big job and be able to handle all the non football stuff. Kind of reminds me of Mike leach but instead of being mercurial he’s kind of a hometown redneck hero.
