I just checked the transfer portal and the Big 10 doesn't seem to know the transfer portal exists. Only Nebraska and Michigan State are really bringing in anyone, and the caliber of recruits isn't anywhere near what the SEC schools are bringing in. Currently 5 of the top 10 schools in the transfer portal rankings are SEC (Ole Miss, LSU, Arkansas, South Carolina and Alabama) and Oklahoma and Texas (2 soon to be SEC teams) are also in the top 10. For all the Big 10's crying when they get their butts kicked in bowl season, you would think they would try to close the talent gap.

Alabama and Georgia were 3-1. The rest of the SEC was 3-7. B1G was 6-4.

Well Ohio St and Michigan don’t really need to utilize it since they recruit out of high school well

The big ten plays no type of appealing football. If I’m a transfer I wouldn’t be mesmerized by any of the programs outside the top 3
