Remains to be seen how many opt-outs for the meaningless bowl game.

The worst part is bill O’Brien was correct
No the worst part was Saban doesn't understand offense and wouldn't list to people that DID understand offense. Then Saban allowed selfish players to convince him that "Milroe won the locker room" or they weren't going to play hard for other team mates. Saban saw the hand-writing on the wall and was embarrassed the players was telling him what to do so he retired.

Its been a shite show ever since Milroe and his politician personality got on campus. He also had handlers telling him to do his publicity stunts. Its all sickening. Milroe essentially got to shove his way into that starting role due to many reasons and the coaches tried to make the best of it this year and try to reboot fresh next year.

Yeah, yeah, y'all won the regular seasons game in the final 2 mins. The Dawgs dug a first half hole that they couldn't get out of. What else you got?

I’m not here to talk smack with UGA fans. But since you brought up that game, it’s a great example of the LANK team culture of thinking a flashy first half had already locked up a national title and that teams like Vandy and OU didn’t require preparation. Both of those losses occurred basically right after Alabama had convinced themselves that a playoff berth and SEC championship appearance were locked up.

I’m not referring to Milroe as LANK. I’m talking about this LANK attitude that preaches swagger without backing it up on the field. We always let the score board do our talking before this LANK instagram attitude infected the team.

There has been talk from bama fans that the only reason KD is starting Milroe is because of fear of losing the locker room.

My post was directed towards that.

Agreed. Agreed. Agreed. Agreed.

Hope they beam up out of the TP today if possible.

If you don't want to represent Bama, then gtfo.

I hope a lot. Last offseason had DeBoer in a position of weakness trying to convince a bunch of Saban players to stay and adapting to whatever they asked for, including basically handing control of the team to the click of LANK players.

This offseason he knows who fits his scheme and leadership style, has his own top recruiting class coming, and can plug and play from the portal. Bad apples are now vulnerable instead of irreplaceable.

Not saying it will all be rosy, but in this era, taking over a 5 star roster is very different than back when Coker did it at Miami or Miles at LSU.

It was SABAN not Alabama

I don’t expect Saban era results. But I do expect to be in that UGA, Ohio St, Texas, Oregon type discussion every year. The program has a good enough foundation for that and I fear with the current group of players that making the playoffs will reinforce everything that wasn’t good enough this year.
