I couldn't find a recent picture of the field, but it is looking better than ever.

Considering there are a grand total of ZERO bleachers in O-U stadium, I agree that bleachers are bush league.

ETA: Thank you for this. It always brightens my day when someone can make the most ignorant post possible.

There are no bleachers.....anywhere....near.....O-U stadium.

We have terraced areas to bring your own chairs in the outfield. There are a few provided grills out there but you can bring your own charcoal grill.

It's set back from the wall because it's on a hill and the closer to the wall you get, the less you can see over the wall.

You must be. The outfield is made of levels built into the hill. Quite nice actually. Made of stone. If you see a little dirt it is because they have been expanding them yearly. Look closelier

Yep, no bleachers. Although I don't really see anything wrong with bleachers at sporting events. I'm usually not there to critique what I am sitting in. I usually prefer to stand either way...

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. GTFO. No Sec school has a shitty stadium, some just better than others. Ours is top 4 at worst...

That poster pic of Dudy Noble was taken during State's Super Regional vs Clemson in 2007. Not sure if it was the first SR game with an attendance of 12,620 or the second with 13,715 (that State won to make the CWS). I was at both games and the atmosphere was awesome and the crowd was loud.

There was a specific issue that caused the poor grass in the outfield--I don't remember exactly what it was, but the field looked much better the next season.

Ok, well here is mine. O-U is better than the Box. It's called an opinion. Hope you like it

I'm not going to rip you apart because of your opinion. I could care less what your opinion is. They're both great stadiums and great atmospheres.

So you agree that his opinion on O-U looking shitty is retarded? FWIW, I don't necessarily think that O-U is better than the Box, but they are both great. It truly is stupid to say that either are bad. I even said that I don't mind bleachers. I have been the most logical person in this thread and certainly know that people have opinions, but his was pretty far-fetched...

I disagree with his statement, but I'm just saying it's his opinion, even if it is ridiculous. I like both stadiums and there's no reason to argue about which is better.
