Having been to both, I can honestly say Alex Box is by far much nicer than O-U. I'm not saying I don't like O-U, it just isn't as nice as Ole Miss fans make it out to be.

I have too.....and I can honestly say it's a wash because of the Box cutting corners.(ads, bleachers, incomplete suites)

I can honestly say everything you just said word for word about the Box. If the Box had just an average exterior, it would drop them down to 4th or even 5th.

And until this year i'd agree. Its been under construction for the past two years. It had a lot of work in the outfield to do like those pictures of O-U showed. This year is the first that there were mounds of dirt of traffic barrels around. Come in a couple weeks and determine it now since its a finished result

And if you still think the Box is nicer then that is fine, because we all have different taste.

I do still think The Box is nicer. That's my opinion and we're all allowed to have one.

How did I know that this would turn into a pissing match between LSU, Ole Miss, and Arkansas fans? With South Carolina fans throwing their hats into the ring.

Too bad The Joe is run down, and Mal Moore refuses to put money into baseball right now. My hope is it means a new park is on the horizon.

What's your opinion on the aesthetics. I personally think Baum is the best, and I'm not understanding where the box love is coming from.

Not going to bite. People go insane in these threads and attack people for their opinion.

We never hit the ball this well last season.

We got by on pitching quite a bit. I think we hit well below .300 a season ago.

Right now, 7 of our starters are hitting above the .300 clip, w/ two of those being above .400

Cox is hitting over .500 right now in SEC play. Unreal.

The Box can take sole possession of 1st if they take the ads down, finish the suites, and replace the bleachers with actual seats.

Agreed.

Yeah, but see I like to base my opinions on observations.

observation: The Box has 4 different colors of seating in the infield: Purple, Yellow, Green, and Aluminum. Ask your friendly neighborhood homosexual about that color combination

Observation: The box has bleachers in the grandstand

Observation: The press area is an ugly yellow that doesn't match the yellow seats in the grandstand

Observation: The box grandstand has a ton of open air from unfinished boxes.

Observation: The box has a badass facade, there is no denying that.

observation: The box has a pretty shitty backdrop, Big Yellow shed out in Left field, Parking lot in center, ect. Does have a badass view of TS, though so points for that.

observation: More ugly arse bleachers in the outfield to go along with Ads all over the walls.

I don't care if you make an argument for the box being better than O-U. It's certainly comprable. But Carolina and especially Baum are much better aesthetically.
