Ask Vitello how the 2015 Arkansas team with an even better ERA faired

This UT team is actually like a lot of the Dave Vorn Horn teams from a several years back with elite pitching staffs year after year but couldn't hit enough to win big. Then last year the pitching was decent but hitting was elite with a ton of power throughout the lineup and Arkansas has their best season under him.

We were still able to make the CWS though and I cant recall any of those staffs giving up 26 runs in two games in a weekend.

I have said it for most of this year, but this team is better. Pitching is decent, but the hitting mixed with this teams speed is what makes it better than last year's runner up team. It will be interesting to see how they finish down the stretch.

Arkansas has scored more runs (26) in two games than Tennessee had allowed in the previous 11 games combined (23).

In the first two games of our series elite Vol pitching has held us to:
26 runs
34 hits
6 home runs and too many doubles to count
