They also beat Spurrier in his only 2 trips there. In fact they are 7-3 vs UF in Starksville all time! Not a bad play here.

What are the ages of the 3 new coaches? Aren't all 3 in their 30's?

We kicked their arse that game. The final score wasn't even indicative of how that game went. We rushed for over 350 yards and held them to minus 78. They passed for alot but that mainly came at the end on their 2 final drives after we were up 47 - 23.

I remember Spurrier complaining that one of our players hit their waterboy.

BTW, State made the best hire right now comparing the coaches resumes to the respective schools they went to.

Now down the road may change after actual results though.

Mullen . . . however, Mississippi State is a much tougher place to win than Auburn or Tennessee. Mullen could easily be the best hire, but win fewer games.

Chizik and Kiffin have both been busts as head coaches, so in that respect, they are risky hires. Chizik seems to have hired a good batch of assistants. Kiffin has hired some big names, but you have to concerned about the nepotism (bringing on David Reaves was a mistake).

Vol's fans can say all they want about loving Kiffin, but the fact is, he has a poor track record as a head coach and an even worse record for putting his foot in his mouth. Kiffin will end up like Billy Gillespie -- a bad fit and a big mouth who is forced out after two years tearing up an historic program.

In order:
Mullen
Chizik
Kiffin

The problem with ms state is even when they have good teams they have never had a good QB. Matt Wyatt was prob the best one they had and he always came off the bench whenever Madkin got too hard to watch.

this is correct which is why I'm happy about getting a QB/OC coach as a head coach. However...

Chizik will be the best because almost every head coach at Auburn has been successful.

Kevin Fant was pretty good. I think highly recruited Tyler Russell will be perfect for Mullen's spread offense.
