Truth. Really makes you wonder how he managed to beat Bama twice in a row.

Thats a good point...i cant even count how many world series have ended in ties.

So all World Series, Superbowl, NCAA basketball teams winners had better records than everyone else? NO.

All those winners won the game that counts. So did Bama. End of story.

Except when it mattered most

ETA: Bama has also outscored LSU 27-9 the past two games

What some people seem to misunderstand is that the BCS is already a playoff in theory just with the field limited to the top 2 teams instead of 4, 8 or 64.

The feeling that the "best" or "most deserving" team didn't win the championship would only increase with more teams in the playoff field in most years.

That said, I'm 100% for expanding it to a plus one (since, like most Americans, I like play offs!) but to say it's not a "playoff" now is wrong. Maybe people are too young to remember the traditionalist argument against it when it began being that it was a playoff that would keep expanding.

My problem with the BCS this year is that the team with the better record had to win their way in with an extra game (SECCG).
Meanwhile, the runner-up sat at home with a pass into the CG.
That was b@ss akwards. The wildcard team shouldn't be the one with a bye.

At least LSU was able to win one championship. With a playoff they win NONE!!!

That's a very valid critique this year but has a lot more to do with the conferences themselves choosing to have a championship game that with the BCS overall.

Conference championship games are a double-edged sword. They can propel a team into a BCS game but they also often punish a team for making it (like Mich St this year).

Yes you did. Congrats on that hard fought, well deserved victory which obviously propelled Auburn to such a successful season.

Not sure why you're attempting to pick on an Auburn fan?
