I don't know if I like this. Bringing in the "human element" can introduce a lot of bias and human error to the formula.

It allows people to be subjective and play politics to get the teams into the national title hunt that they personally want to see. This is what ESPN did for Bama last year. They conveniently ignored all objective criteria such as strength of schedule, whether teams won their conference or not, and the fact that Bama had already had a chance to beat the #1 team but lost to them. Instead they claimed that Bama passed the "eyeball test", which is nothing more than subjective conjecture.

Herschel Walker is incredible, he's in better shape at age 50 than most 25 year old athletes

hell yeah he is. thats why the SEC needs him as their rep. he represents the superiority of our conference. and like i said before, hes not somebody you really wanna disagree with

Vince Dooley an Auburn grad that coached at Georgia. He has a son @ Tennesse who was mentored at LSU by the current Alabama coach

thats a good pick. if the other conferences select old respectable coaches as their reps, i would be in support of Dooley to rep the SEC.

but if its a bunch of shyster dirtbags, go with Herschel

NC game didn't prove anything. LSU and Bama were 1-1 against each other after the game and LSU still had a better record. That's another reason it is retarded.

We still don't know if LSU or Bama were truly better than Oklahoma State because it wasn't settled on the field. I guess we just have a mythical national champion as in all years.

Hopefully they will come up with an objective way to determine the participants in the playoff and sort all this kind of stuff out.
