The setting around Alex Box is a hundred fold better too. Baum is away from the UArk campus, and next to non-athletic, non-campus stuff.

To the Rantard that posted the overall attendance numbers last year, have you stopped to take notice that you played damn near 20 more home games?

LSU and Arkansas, year in and year out, lead the nation in attendance at about 8 to 9K per game.

The gap in overall attendance is partly due to LSU being forced to host in-state cupcakes, and of course hosting Regional and Super Regional play.

Now, now. Excuses are only allowed for LSU fans.

People pay PSLs for our baseball program so yeah, we are going to schedule more games.

We're up over 10 this year chief

Whose fault is that that Baum doesn't host more postseason games?

woopig..you have some good post and some trash like this....you are excited about your program year in and year out, I like it..last year it was about the rpi and this year its about maybe winning a series against the tigers and attendance....BUT if you know anything about baseball, you should know not to compare our 2 programs..its like the Rays comparing themselves to the Yankees....win a championship or six then let the comparisons begin

1) I still post RPI and SOS every monday morning. I believe as the season progresses it becomes a valuable indictaor of where aa team stands.

2) When did I compare programs? I'm probably a bigger fan of LSU Baseball than some LSU posters.

My point was posting 'overall' attendance is misleading. If there is going to be attendance trash talk (gay) then I say avg attendance is the only way to go, and LSU typically leads in it as well.

Try not to project strawman arguments onto me.

Sorry for the typos. I'm not drunk. My Blackberry keys have a mind of their own and editing is too big of a pain in my arse.

I love LSU's history, in all sports.

On the otherhand, I think Derek Jeter will tell you that last year's World Series doesn't mean anything this year.

Baum sets about a 1/2 mile off of campus, and sits next to the Razorback Foundation, ticket offices, and the Tyson Indoor Track facility.

Not really sure what your point is.....or you just have not been to Baum before.

I just don't like the set-up, unlike some other SEC venues. And I have been to Baum a few times, and will be there for the Alabama-Arkansas series next weekend.

I do not really see what there is to not like...Boston Mountains in the back drop, Hog Pen where you can bring your beer/liquor, 11k fans on a good day, plenty of close FREE parking.

Place has been a busy part of the sports complex over the last month or two.....On two home Saturday's there have been baseball games, and the SEC Indoor Championship, then last weekend the NCAA Indoor Championships.....

I just like going to LSU or Mississippi State more. I'm not saying it's bad or anything, just not as pleasing to me as Box or Noble.

Well, the experts seem to disagree with your assessment of Baum Stadium.

Not surprising, going by your post history on this website.

What the Hell is that suppose to mean? I just told you what I prefer. It is not an indictment against Baum.

I have literally never heard any of that ever before in my entire life. Kudos to you sir. You are a master of the linguistical arts. You should write novels.
