i like the "probably." but whatever makes you sleep better at night CC. every team has it's stupid thing they do like rammer jammer. i mean, we'll even sing that if we come back late in the 4th and beat a team by 1 point. it's the sort of thing that you just gotta understand. it's not rubbing shite in people's faces like y'all do. but at least i hit a nerve.

i SAID we were arrogant. it is something you can't avoid when a program wins like we have in the past. even if we win well.. which we do.... people will THINK you're arrogant just because you've accomplished a lot. btw, i also said we might have been bad losers for a while when we were getting our asses beat.

You forgot to mention he also said he was scared of what Alabama and Saban are building in the state and that Alabama is a top 5 Program of all time .

niiiiice. yeah, funny how the whole story gets left out. just a shred of it gets shown. but it's cool. barkley saying we're gonna be a top 5 all time program or saying that we're the most obnoxious fans ever doesn't make ONE bit of ANY kind of difference to me. he's the sort of guy that stays in the limelight for the same reasons howard stern does. he's a shock jock. he's not afraid to speak his mind. he's likeable. he's funny. and JUST sometimes, he's dead on.
but the phrase "take it with a grain of salt" comes to mind when i think of Sir Charles... but istead of a grain of salt... i'll eat the entire shaker of salt.

Bammers might have good reason to be obnoxious and arrogant based on their past history, but you would think their levels of arrogance, obnoxiousness, and delusion would have gone down at least a notch or two after all the losing, coaching changes, and other controversy they have had over the last 20 or 25 years.
Those things have not gone down at all. The gumps are just as arrogant, just as obnoxious, and just as delusional as they were 12 or 15 years ago despite all the problems they have had during that period of time

honestly, all you did there was compliment our steadfast qualities. we appreciate it. we will NOT back down our wishes and expectations one bit. we are the CRIMSON TIDE. and no one loves winning more than we do.

(actually, nick saban has backed our immediate expectations off a decent bit so he can get his job done easier. we abide because we know it'll benefit us)
