Everyone can see it, or “this scenario soothes my intellectual priors, so I’m choosing to believe it”?

I’m not saying what you’re alleging is *wrong*, but what hard evidence do you have? You work for Nashville PD?

They're both total freak shows. I don't know some of you are singling out Evans.

However, those two sure have made a lot of hay over the course of their marriage and faith. The way I see it, whenever someone starts talking about their faith at the dinner table, that's when I start counting the silverware.

That's why no trailer park is safe after a Bama loss.

In the alleged scenario, the crazed driver is peeling out in reverse, trying to keep a straight path on the driveway. In my mind, it would seem easy to dodge that car provided you were not closer than 5 feet to the bumper.

What I saw indicated that they were in another car? If that is true, seems like he could have easily hit the

The article I read in The Tennessean says he missed Evans and the other person in the car, but I see no mention of the car itself. Maybe I’m not reading the article correctly, but it sounds like he’s being accused of trying to hit them as they were exiting the car.

There’s also “several” other eyewitnesses that corroborated Evans’s description of events.

Seems like there would be a security camera, so we may find out for sure…

Per the affidavit:

quote:

According to the affidavit, as the vehicle was crossing the threshold of her driveway, the victim saw Barker reversing in his vehicle at a high rate of speed attempting to hit them but missed before driving away.

The only one I've seen mentioned is the "friend" (read sex partner on his way to participate in an adulterous affair) who was in the car with her.

We're all trying to read between the lines here
(except for the rabid idiots attempting to portray
Barker as representing everything Alabama)---but
I'd say the above is likely an accurate take. Any rate,
this hillbilly Kardashian episode had some
bad mojo brewing---Evans filed for divorce back
in August, citing “irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct" and Barker
has refused to respond (until I guess in the
driveway with Sara and her "friend" .
Perhaps someday it'll make
a good Jerry Springer Show. Meantime, why
don't we all lean back and enjoy a
Sara Evans Barker hit, recorded years before all
this shite was even a twinkle in a lawyer's eye.

So lying skank whores in Tuscaloosa deserve to be run over with cars?

We know that’s not true because, if it was, there would be dead female bodies with tire tracks all over that city.

You know, I was thinking the same thing but I had Auburn in mind.

It also sounds like he was arrested when he went back to the scene - that’s on him for being an idiot (or allowing his anger about her @friend@ to get the best of him)

But it does not sound like he actually tried to hit her, she was in a car - just about impossible to miss a car if you’re really trying to hit it…

I'm betting the police called him to come back and he did - because he's a good dude getting railroaded by a crazy lady.

Both sides have played this game before, my guess is she is better at it. Sad for him.

What we are all missing here is did her driver leave immediately after the police report OR did said driver stick around for a night cap?
