I WATCHED THE GAME LIVE. At the time the refs said NOTHING about blindside block. If they were going to call a blindside block don't you think they would have said, Player #5 is guilty of a blind side block when they explained the flag?? But that's not what they did.

And as soon as the ball changes hands, he's no longer a QB. He's a defended.

Ok, then what was the penalty called then?

I've already told you this. Unnecessary roughness.

Is a season 6 weeks or 12? The moment you have to start picking and choosing which weeks are relevant, you inject bias into the argument. That’s why South Carolina fails against both Bama and Ole Miss. if you go last 8 weeks instead of 6 you now include losses to not one but both of the others teams being discussed.

The choosing of 8 weeks vs 6 being somewhat arbitrary is a fair point, although I do think that 6 certainly represents the second half of the season.

With that said, I agree that you should view the season as a whole, but offer that timing is relevant. Theoretically, and things like injuries aside, teams should be performing at their peak by the end of the season.

they're really a 2 loss team

No, sir. South Carolina couldn't make a FG to send the game into OT. A loss is a loss is a loss.

And your problem with it being called is? Either way, your coach should teach them not to do that.

Again, opposing teams QB this kind of shite gets called. Multiple times this year we've had roughing the passer penalties called on us because of a hand barely touching a helmet and shite.

And it's starting to affect games as well. I think it was maybe Ole Miss and Florida where Dart(or another QB) was able to pick up about 6 extra yards because he didn't run out of bounds right away and people were scared to hit him for fear of a penalty.

You are talking about things that are being called on everyone. It's ridiculous, but stop acting like you are being singled out because you aren't.

If your players do the same thing again tomorrow it's going to have the same exact outcome, so your coach should be teaching your players otherwise.

Nussmeier was moving towards the ball carrier to attempt to make a tackle. At that moment, he's no longer a QB. THAT's my problem.

And that's why the penalties are stupid. That doesn't change that the penalties/rules exist.

Again, if your players did the same thing the next day, it's going to have the exact same result. Alabama players were putting their hands in the air on blocks for awhile to prevent penalties. I don't remember seeing that much this year however.

If your player doesn't knock the frick outta the guy, you aren't here crying right now.

It's like targeting. So many times they just call it because it's a big hit.
