Bama defensive players, in this year's draft, were undervalued because they weren't pass rushers. That has more to do with Bama's scheme than them if you ask me though. Ragland's fault was that he can't cover very well even though he can go side line to side line. With that being where the NFL stands, I think next year Bama will have players flying off the board early.
Reuben Foster - considered the best coverage lb in college football. Can tackle in space and stop the run
Tim Williams - explosive off the edge, a nightmare in the pass rush. Needs to add weight thoug
Jonathan Allen - could have gone 1st round this year. 2nd best pass rusher in the SEC
Ryan Anderson - big, strong and great off the edge. can stop the run too
Evans - great in space and can get after the qb.
Unless NFL teams have cemented that all Bama players are only good in Bama's scheme, I can't see why these guys won't be high commodities for the 2017 draft if the value is in pass rushing

So the team will have a big drop off in 2017? Or will their replacements in Tuscaloosa be even better?

This time last year, Henry, reed, Robinson, and Ragland were 1st rounders

focusing on the defensive side of the ball. If Cam doesn't have a horrible year he should be set as a 1st rounder.

We may have five or more first-rounders also next year....

Could be an interesting year. Would love for over half the 1st rounders next year to come from the SEC

Bama, LSU, Tennessee and Georgia are going to be everywhere in the top next years draft.

no these are good players but they are not going in the first round.

Don't remember any Bama posters claiming D Henry would be a 1st rounder. Most people have ways said he was 2nd or 3rd round type player. The seasin he had this past year was amazing and led to Bama fans over stating his draft potential "this year"
DH is a great person, from all accounts, works hard and will be a productive player for the Titans.

Foster is not someone an NFL team will be willing to take in the first round. In the NFL you have to be able to think in space.
Williams will have to prove he is a 3 down player.
Allen should have most of the DL stats next year, Combine is where he can make his money.
Anderson has a chance to prove himself this year, he will have to prove he is a better pass rusher.
Evans is nowhere near a first round talent.

Williams, Allen, and Robinson will all be 1st rounders. LOfrickingL at the rest going first round.

It will depend on the season they have, but Foster, Anderson and Evans have the potential to go depending on a team's need. I think Foster is highly undervalued for his skill set.

Foster is great in space it's probably his greatest strength.
Evans easily has the athleticism/skillset of a first rounder. He'll have a good shot if he has a good year.
