Searched around and couldn't find anything, will Rolando McClain be disciplined for pushing a referee in the game vs. VT? Bama fans heard anything on this?

15 yards extra plus half of his arse is gone and is digesting in Saban's stomach.

When he got the personal foul and unsportsmanlike penalty, then they scored a TD.

It was strange b/c right when it happened, I immediately thought about the Oregon RB incident. But it seemed to just kinda blow over.

I was like wth, bs penalty when they said unsportsmanlike, then when they showed what happened.. I couldn't believe it. He was very fortunate that's all they did, no doubt. That was very uncharacteristic of him and he's usually a quiet and humble kid. Hopefully he'll learn from this as will the other players.

Saban's losing control of this team IMO;

I would hate to be him at practice this week. Saban will make that kid cry

I do have to give kudos to him and the defense after that though. They could have easily lost total composure and folded, but he was able to get past it and they played lights out after that score.

+1. We were extremely lucky to have him for the rest of the game.

He definitely should have been tossed.. but I've got a funny feeling he's going to vomit once or twice this week

I dunno. Couldnt tell if the play was over or not, but the linemen had pretty much almost drug him to the ground, then he got his hands in the linemens face. When the ref got between them, McClain gave a shove to the ref.. that is what brought out the unsportsman penalty.

If you look at the game film, the camera pans over and you see McClain shove the lineman down (after the play) with his shoulder and then the lineman gets up and get in his face...then the rest of what you described happened. I'm curious what the lineman did before the camera panned over...

that I don't know. Regardless.. he was caught with the retaliation, and there was no excuse for shoving the ref.
