Will they just plug in another coach and keep rolling like LSU has done? I actually fear the day Nick calls it quits. Recruiting in Louisiana is much easier than in Bama.

This program won't settle for just another coach. They'll pay any price to hire an elite coach after Nick.

In all likelihood Smart is gone after this season and Saban stays another ten years. After that Smart will have enough experience as a HC, and he'll be elite, we just bring him back.

If your answer is false then you should expect Arky to be 0-12 this season without Petrino.

I think their ceiling is 9-3. Toss up with Arky and UGA. JHS isn't an easy place to play and they will be the most improved team in the nation this year, imo.

Don't be mad that Auburn is taking your spot as one of the three West powers. You just don't have the brand name to stay up there with the big boys.

An avg coach can win 10 consistently at Bama.

Its not about recruiting the program does that, its about controlling the boosters and dealing with Auburn.

I just have to think that there will be a drop off from what Nick Saban has done at Bama, doesn't mean that you'll become Ole Miss though.

9 wins, 10 wins, no difference. The level of competition will make the difference of a game or two.

Basic point being in my OP, Bama elevates the coach.

I think you try to hard to be unbiased, but Auburn sucks really not even flaming. You think their swing games are UGA and Arky. Most see those as auto loses.

Their swing games are Vandy, State, and A&M. Thats currently the level Auburn is at.

Don't need glasses to see you're a dumbass. Next time you post something knowledgeable about football will be the first time.

AU was 8-5 last year. You stated the best they could do this yr was 9-3. Then you said they were going to be most improved in country. A two game improvement at most is best in country?? You're a genius.

No, I think Auburn is fricking better than everyone is saying. But of course you can't think that or you're trying to be unbiased.

What does it matter what most think? Most are fricking wrong.

aTm is not on Aubie's level, don't kid yourself. Vandy plays good D, but again not on Auburn's level. State played them close a year ago, but the only reason it is a swing game is because State doesn't let anyone just score on them.

They were probably the worst 8 win team in the country also.

You sound mad. Just shut up while you're ahead.

They'd win their bowl game. I think going from 8-5 to possibly 10-3 after bowl season isn't the "most improved", but their statistics will be the most improved. Their Defense is going to shoot up rankings and they won't look like a high school team on offense.
